Yeah fuck that. I am not against subscriptions like utilities or a sports membership but subscriptions for something you could just buy one-off. Please... I don't have to own a powerplant or a complete cell infrastructure, but i do want to own the app that i buy and not rent it so it can be taken away in the future.

Sometimes people ask me what message my paintings contain. The truth is, I’m not looking for one. I don’t feel the obligation to explain something through painting. But at the same time, I don’t want my work to be just decoration on a wall. What I really hope for is simpler. I hope that someone, standing in front of one of my paintings, pauses for a moment. Feels a small sense of inner calm. And maybe, without knowing why, a hint of hope. If that happens, even just for a few seconds, then the painting has already done enough.
