If you have a kid that plays video games, get them Stardew Valley for their summer game. (And also play it yourself)
The music is peak (per my 11 year old) the vibes are super happy-chill, and it teaches resource management in multiple ways. They'll need this graphic for completing the community center and I highly suggest keeping the wiki handy for giving appropriate villager gifts.
It's legit in my top 3 games of all time.
