Many busy people turn to “influencers” to tell them about new platforms (ie. Nostr for Twitter, Session for Telegram, Peertube, ect) The problem is the influencers are already big on the tyranny platform and usually making money off that. So they become entrenched with the same interests as Big Tech itself, where they don’t want to jeopardize their moat. Unfortunately, the only way to break the cycle is when the big influencers get censored. But by then it might be too late.

I can recommend it, I like my exchange-based tariff very much (Awattar in Austria). I think it's fun to save by moving your load (dishwasher, EV) off-peak.
