I got a sizable promotion at work today. Feel fortunate to work where I do for the people I work with ... Not every job and company is evil. I genuinely like what I do and the impact I get to have.
They say ai will replace my finance role, they say finance people are not value adding, they say and ideal world has less of what I do.
Maybe they're right, but it is not this day.
