Been summoned twice. First time was when I was 18 with a migraine and got picked for a one afternernoon DUI case for a guy who blew a .08 at a traffic stop.
Second time was during that whole massive computer outage a year or two ago (I lost track), watched them try to turn their systems on for five hours, saw a fight break out in the hall in front of one of the court rooms and the guy get arrested, then went home.
Only part worth it was the fight.
