What's the alternative? Have government force us to live no matter what? I think it's reasonable to have at least some form of legal assisted death. And if those people want to donate organs, that seems reasonable. Prolonging pain and dying seems like a very poor alternative. Not allowing them to gift their organs also seems unreasonable. An ethicist can find ethical problems anywhere. That's what they do. The question in my mind is how to reduce ethical issues. I don't think you can ever have a perfectly ethical system though. And removing people's choice over their own death is just as unethical in my opinion. Where's the line? I don't know. Legal and ethical debate is good.
